A new puppy in the family is an exciting prospect. A cute bundle of playfulness running around making everyone smile – just lovely. But before your puppy comes home for that first day and night, there’s a lot to think about.
Or maybe you’d like a rescue dog but are not sure how to choose? Or you’ve fallen in love with a dog that needs a home already and need a hand getting everything sorted?
As well as answering the normal questions – Where will it sleep? What will it eat? What do I need to buy? – this session will look at the big issues – how to make sure your puppy or dog starts off its new life in the most positive way – to ensure it becomes and remains a happy hound in a happy home, well socialised, well trained, respected and respectful.
This informal session, in your own home, with printed handouts and heaps of tips and advice, will look at how to prepare yourself, your family and your home for your new arrival, and make sure that the dog you choose has the best possible start in its new home.
Interested? Contact us for more info and to book. A one hour session costs £35, and will be tailor made to your personal situation. If you live outisde of the Horsforth/ Otley area we might charge you 45p per mile mileage too, but we’ll let you know when you book in.
Topics covered can include the following, but can be varied depending on your knowledge and situation.
